Top 5 Ways to ensure you have fun at the Midland Ontario Cup this weekend:
5. Brings some good wet weather tires, this place gets slippery and it's always better to have too much tire rather than not enough here. Recommended: 26'' - Bontrager XR2 29" - Kenda Karma or Bontrager Mud X if things get really wet
4. Your best rain jacket. Staying dry is key, especially pre and post ride.
3. A BIG thermos of warm green tea. The tea will keep you warm if temps dip low and the green tea has great antioxidant properties.
2. Come ride with the Pros! Ride with Derek Zandstra and Amanda Sin of Scott / 3 Rox Racing. Straight off the world cup circuit, these two will give you helpful pointers to riding one of Ontario's toughest race courses. More info here or by e-mail me (mattp.eventsATgmail.com)
1. Bring a positive attitude! Sounds dumb I know but a positive attitude can overcome ANYTHING. Cold or hot weather. Mud or dust. Tired legs can be re-energized and fears overcome.
